Terms of engagement
These terms apply to advisory identity and access management review services provided by Workspace Lakepath (Pty) Ltd.
Acceptance
By requesting a proposal, accepting a statement of work, or using this website to enquire about services, you agree to these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
Services
Workspace Lakepath provides professional advisory services focused on cybersecurity identity and access management reviews. Deliverables, timelines, and fees are defined in a written proposal or statement of work. Services are informational and advisory; they do not constitute legal advice, guaranteed audit outcomes, or hands-on system administration unless expressly stated.
Client responsibilities
You agree to provide timely access to nominated contacts, read-only evidence, and accurate descriptions of systems in scope. Delays in access may shift delivery dates. You remain responsible for decisions taken after receiving our findings.
Intellectual property
Pre-existing methodologies, templates, and tools remain the property of Workspace Lakepath. Upon full payment, you receive a licence to use the final report and evidence appendix for internal governance, audit, and insurance purposes. You may not resell or republish our materials without written consent.
Confidentiality
Both parties will protect non-public information obtained during an engagement and use it only for performing or receiving the services, except where disclosure is required by law.
Liability
To the extent permitted by South African law, our aggregate liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or reputational harm, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Website use
Website content is provided for general information. We may update pages without notice. Unauthorised scraping, interference with site security, or misuse of enquiry forms is prohibited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Courts with jurisdiction in the Western Cape have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, without limiting either party’s right to seek urgent relief elsewhere.
